"My husband and I both love Japanese cuisine. We were both working as airline service crew for 10 years before we started Ramen Ten. We were frequently stationed in Japan and grew to love Japanese food, especially ramen. After our stint at the airline, I wanted to set up a Japanese restaurant;  a Japanese Ramen restaurant that offers many choices. We noticed that there were many shops offering specialized Japanese food in Tokyo, Japan. Often, these specialty stores offer only tempura, only ramen or only bento sets. To give our customers a wider variety of food, we offer 25 types of ramen with original to a spicy soup base as well as the dry ramen range. We are the first to create Dry Ramen in Singapore, and they have been very well received by our customers. Besides offering a wide range of Japanese food with a local twist, we wanted to create a trendy environment and atmosphere like in Harajuku, with friendly service and affordable pricing. We wanted to make it more economical and available to all. In Japan, ramen soup is usually made with pork bone with pork char siew, and most Japanese food contain alcohol. We created a range of Japanese cuisine that can be offered to everyone, including the Muslims." -Yvone Lim
